#21 Podcats

Podcasts, those thing we have been listening to in the Learning 2.0 discovery reading and exercises.

So what are Podcasts? Wikipedia defines the term as "A podcast is a digital media file, or a related collection of such files, which is distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds for playback on portable media players and personal computers. The term, like "radio", can refer either to the content itself or to the method by which it is syndicated; the latter is also termed podcasting. The host or author of a podcast is often called a podcaster.".

Podcasts would be useful for the library, similar to YouTube, the sharing of audio books (if legal to do so) or maybe reviews of books, upcoming library event or maybe the libraries own "radio station" or "radio show" with information on the library, upcoming events, books reviews and the other service the library provides or wants to promote.

As for me I don't like just listening to something, I like full interaction with visual and audio so I normally are I am better off with YouTube.
