#18 Zoho Writer

This Blog has been written in Zoho Writer.

So what is Zoho Writer? Well it is a online word processor that you can use to create documents online, then share them with others.

Zoho Writer has a similar layout and function to Microsoft Word - you can type and document and then format it in a mutitude of ways. You can manipulate the documets text fonts, text size, text colour, text background colour, text alignmnet, bold, italics, underlined, bullet points and lots more. There's even emotions (cool) that you can insert by a touch of a button, even the special characters (©®♥◊Ω etc...) are easier to find than word!

Other differneces between Zoho Writer and Word is that is FREE to use and Microsoft Word, well, is not! Also Microsoft Word is a piece of software (computer program) that will have to be installed on each computer you use, where as Zoho Writer can be accessed from any computer without have to download and install software to start writing something.

You can even publish documents from Zoho Writer straight to your blog! (That's how I made this blog entry).

Zoho Writer is really easy and intiative to use and has all the basic functions of a word processor plus a bit more. If you already know how to use Microsoft Word you will be right at home use Zoho Writer.

As for how to publish a documet to your blog all you do is type your document then click on the "Publish" link and select "Post To Blog". Select which type of Blog you have (in our case "Blogger"), enter your username and password for you blog (the one use you to log into www.blogger.com) and click "Get My Blogs". If Zoho Writer has found your blog, just click on the "Publish" button and hey presto! A red message will confirm if the document has been posted on your blog. Click on the "close" button and then either save your document for later prosperity or delete it.

You will probably need to go back to Blogger and edit your post if you want to add a heading for you blog entry or add extra tags.

BTW: The staff tracking log was created and is upadted using the Google documents tools.
